Jessica Simpson’s gal-pals fear new boyfriend is a leech

[HMG] – When Jessica Simpson and former New Orleans Saints tight-end, Eric Johnson got together, friends thought Jess had finally found love. But now, just three weeks later, the knives are all out for Eric.

Jessica’s friends say they suspect Eric may be exploiting the romance, and that Jessica’s now heading for heartache — again.

“Jessica is so starved for love, she just doesn’t see Eric’s faults,” one friend tells the Star. “She’s been paying for everything, and it doesn’t seem like Eric intends to stop that anytime soon.”

Among this self-appointed jury’s complaints is the fact that Eric now lives with Jessica at her $5-million mansion in Redwood, flew to Italy for her 30th birthday on July 10 – where they shared a hotel suite – joined her for a cruise on a yacht Jessica had rented, and even had the avaricious audacity to share some fine-dining at Capri’s better hotels.

The man should be horse-whipped.

It has clearly escaped their rather selective attention that Eric is not currently working because he’s enrolled in business school, prepping for a new and extremely well-paid career.

And should Jessica decide to turn the tide once he graduates and take money from him, not one of these friends would say one single word.
