Warrant’s Jani Lane Sentenced to 120 Days in Jail

(HMG) – Warrant’s lead singer Jani Lane was ordered to serve 120 days in jail yesterday, after pleading no contest to a DUI charge, TMZ reports. Lane was arrested in May for his second DUI in one year after slamming into a parked car.  Ironically the singer was arrested by the same cop that busted him in the same area last year for DUI. This time around Jani blew twice the legal limit in a Breathalyzer test and failed field sobriety tests.  In addition to serving 120 days in jail, Lane will lose his license for three years and will be required to complete a 30-month alcohol education program. In 2009, Lane was also arrested and charged with a DUI after hitting a parked car. He ended up pleading no contest to a misdemeanor DUI and was given three years probation.
