Ice-T arrested for no seat belt, dud license

[HMG] – On a day that should see Lindsay Lohan enjoying the unique ambiance of her own prison cell we bring you yet another example of a celebrity’s unique ability to blame the rest of the world for their faults: Ice-T has just been arrested.

The 52-year old rapper was arrested at around 10am in New York’s Chelsea district. He had been pulled over for not wearing a seat belt, and was also discovered to be driving on a suspended license.

He and his wife, Nicole ‘CoCo’ Austin were promptly processed at the nearby 10th District PD, and quickly released. But that didn’t stop Ice [real name: Tracy Marrow] from blaming the arresting officer for doing their job;

“Some punk bitch rookie cop named Fisher #10026 made the arrest of his bull—t career today. Arresting the Notorious Ice-T for no seat belt,” he tweeted.

And once Ice was free again, CoCo joined in;

“Yes, Ice was arrested this morning, but we don’t know what the hell for!” she fumed. “He’s been released. We got pulled over for not wearing seat belts.”

So she claims they don’t know why the arrest was required…yet both their tweets tell us! Slight lack of logic?

In other news, TMZ says the pair were taking their bulldog, Spartacus, to the vets for knee surgery. And at least that worked out, as Ice has just tweeted:

“Spartacus is doing well after his surgery. He’ll be home tomorrow. Wow! What a morning!”

He’s now also denying his license was suspended, and claims the police just ‘made that part up.’
