Rachel Uchitel Turns Another ‘Bad Habit’ Into Celebrity Rehab Publicity Opportunity

(HMG) – Likely always to be known as Tiger Woods’ number one mistress, Rachel Uchitel is turning her vices into gold.  VH1 show ‘Celebrity Rehab’ announced on Sunday, that Uchitel, will get paid to be on Dr. Drews proverbial couch, but she won’t have to shed her clothes as in the past.  Rachel will not be treated for sex addiction like her former lover, but for her supposed addiction to pills (the network did not disclose what type of pills).  The show’s upcoming fourth season, will also feature recent ‘kidnap victim’ Jeremy London, of prior ‘Party of Five’ and ‘Mallrats’ fame, his wife Melissa, model Janice Dickinson, oil heir Jason Davis, former teen idol Leif Garrett and former ‘The Hills’ star Jason Wahler. Tila Tequila was supposed to also be treated, but her crazy ways were apparently too much for Celebrity Rehab, who doesn’t exactly cater to the straight and narrow.

Based on their prior histories, I have no doubts about the rest of the cast’s addiction issues, but I have a nagging doubt that Uchitel, is using this rehab stay as a publicity stunt.  But if she does really have some sort of addiction issue with pills, the timing to clear her head couldn’t be better as Donald Trump, a longtime friend of Tiger’s, has very recently asked her, to compete on the next season of “The Celebrity Apprentice”.  It’s a long line of opportunities that have opened up for Uchitel since her alleged affairs with Woods and David Boreanaz seemed to make her a media darling.  She first scored a job as a correspondent for Extra, reporting on nightlife “hot spots,” which she does have a great deal of expertise on, and has since reportedly signed a deal to get naked for Playboy Magazine.

Update: TMZ sources connected to Celebrity Rehab production claim Uchitel had originally turned down the show — but after producers DOUBLED their offer to $500,000, and Dr. Drew personally paid Uchitel a visit, Rachel changed her mind. Proving again perhaps Uchitel is pretty much up for anything, if the price is right?

Update 2:  Donald Trump has withdrawn his offer next for Rachel Uchitel to appear on the next season of “Celebrity Apprentice,”  telling TMZ that the decision to go on Celebrity Rehab: “It’s a terrible decision.  We have zero interest in her now.”  And the Donald, thinks Uchitel made a really bad decision: “Celebrity Apprentice is a huge show and ‘Celebrity Rehab’ is not.  I have 10 people who want to be on the show for every slot that’s available.  I’m moving on.”
