Paris Hilton denies being caught at airport with pot in her purse

(HMG) – Known air-head, Paris Hilton, might also be a pot head too.  The 29-year-old was reportedly arrested during the World Cup in South Africa a few weeks ago, after a friend she was with was caught with a joint at the Brazil-Netherlands quarter-final match in Port Elizabeth.  At the time Paris claimed she had no idea her friend was carrying.  Now yesterday, Hilton was caught with marijuana in her handbag, according to police sources.  She was briefly held by police after getting off a private jet on the French island of Corsica but allegedly had less than a gram of pot.   No charges were filed, and she continued on to Sardinia, Italy.  It must be nice to travel abroad carrying your party favors with you, and even if you do get caught,  just go on your merry way.  I picture the average schmo in this situation getting thrown in some foreign prison praying you might get that one phone call some day.  Paris is apparently denying the incident ever happened,  tweeted this morning as follows: “So sick of people making up rumors about me. The latest one about me is completely false too. Don’t believe what you read. Silly nonsense.”  We think this denial was in response to the pot bust story, but it seems to pretty much cover Paris for whatever bad publicity she may have gotten lately.
