Jennifer Aniston rumored romance is with best friend’s ex

[HMG] – Jennifer Aniston’s unstable love-life has kept the lower-rent tabloids in business for years. But while she has often been the victim of a mismatched romance, it seems her bond with Chris Gartin is hurting some very close friends.

The new pair were spied dining together at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood on July 1st, but the fact that Chris was still legally married to one of Jen’s friends raised some eyebrows – and few have come down.

To make it worse, Joanne Gartin (in photo right with Taye Diggs), an Australian-born wedding planner, is both Chris’s ex-wife and a long-time member of Jen’s inner clique. They share the same social circles as Courteney Cox and David Arquette, and it was through that connection that Chris and Jen met.

So this time Jen is causing the pain:

“I’m really not interested in it,” Joanne told Radar about Chris’s new romance. “Jennifer has been my friend — our friend — for over 10-years…So we’ve known each other a long time.”

But while Joanne is being diplomatic to protect her connections, her mother is not so reserved;

“It’s been difficult for Joanne,” Robbie Ahlfield told reporters from her home in Australia. “It just seems so bizarre, because Jo and Jennifer are such good friends. I find it very strange that Jen would do that.”

Chris’s divorce from Joanne became final last month, but the pair are still in court debating the finances. And Jen is even acting as stepmother to their two children – Sydney and Flynn.

“Jen is in their lives,” Robbie confirms. “She comes to their house, and Sydney and Flynn go to her house a lot, to play in the pool. She gets on well with them.”

Jen’s next movie, the comedy-drama ‘The Switch’ opens on August 20th — and Chris isn’t in it. So for once this is not just PR. Could Jen have finally found love – Let’s hear your reviews?…
