Tila Tequila dropped by Celebrity Rehab

[HMG] – In news that should cause almost global relief, it’s been announced that Tila Tequila has been fired from Dr. Drew’s next season of Celebrity Rehab.

We reported in June on how the 28-year old fame addict had been signed for the show, but her recent claims to have been attacked by one of her feigned alter-egos is thought to have caused those in charge to dismiss her.

Tila claimed she was attacked by an alternate personality she refers to as ‘Jane.’ But an expert has shredded such tales;

“These are self-mutilation scars,” Dr. Joseph Haraszati told reporters. “It looks like there are some burn marks too. Cutting and burning are a common combination among women.”

Radar asked her reps if Tila was still due to appear on Rehab’s fourth season,  and their answer was as short as their star — ‘No.’

Friends say Tila is addicted to the sleep-aid medication, Ambien. Her involvement in the show was thought to be related to curing her of this addiction.

With her usual lack of restraint, Tequila made a great fanfare out of being hired by Dr. Drew, and even claimed VH1 were planning to give her a series of her own if the ”Rehab’ gig was successful. Such plans are now stalled.

With the chance of Dr. Drew’s help in breaking her habit now gone, it’s not clear if Tila will seek other ways to break free of her demons. It’s also unclear if such a depth of addiction to unearned notoriety can even be cured.

But whatever new path she now chooses to maintain visibility, you can bet Miss Tila will keep us informed…
