The-Dream Announces Separation from Christina Milian After Photos Released Frolicking with Personal Assistant

(HMG) – Apparently forced to make an announcement after photos surfaced today of The Dream’ canoodling with his personal assistant, his rep released a quickly drawn statement to US, that he separated from Christina Milian late last year!

“Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.”

The Dream proposed to Christina in July 2009 and they eloped in September 2009 in Las Vegas and had a formal wedding a second time in Rome in December . Their daughter Violet was born just this past February, so if they reached a decision to split in 2009, it was before she was born and only days after they married in Italy.  The producer and singer (who released his third album, Love King, on June 29), 32, was caught  on film earlier this week frolicking in the Caribbean, with his assistant of about a year, Melissa Santiago.
