Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes Attempting Reconciliation?

(HMG) – Some months ago Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes who have been married since 2003 and have one child together, a son Joe Alfie Winslet Mendes, announced they had separated and were likely divorcing.  There is however a new story circulating that the two who split amicably are now attempting to salvage their marriage. Sam, Kate and the family are supposedly taking a getaway to their Gloucestershire, England manor for the summer, according to Britain’s Sunday Express, to try to rekindle their relationship.  GossipCop.com claims to have contacted Mendes spokesperson who shot down the reconciliation story as false.  Reps have been known to lie to protect the privacy of their clients but for now it looks like the divorce is still on.
