Will Lindsay Lohan’s ex-assistant take the cash from tabloids for ‘tell all’ interview?
(HMG) – I guess we should have saw this one coming, given all the attention focused on her boss. Word is that Lindsay Lohan‘s assistant, who quit earlier this month and would have first hand knowledge of her clients behind the scenes behavior, has been offered multiple five-figure deals to tattle on her famous ex-boss. Sources said the tabloids and entertainment magazine have been offering cash deals worth around $50,000 to the woman, identified only as Eleanore, who reportedly quit because she was “exhausted” and “had enough of Lindsay’s tantrums and 24/7 demands.” According to a Page Six source, source added: “She has so far refused the offers, saying she doesn’t want to tell on Lindsay as she’s afraid she’ll never work again.” I wonder if Eleanore was forced to sign a confidentiality agreement, because you can bet she’s probably being threatened with a lawsuit if she talks to the media. But given the money involved is it just a matter of time before she talks?
Meanwhile Lindsay faces heat on yet another front as a judge decided yesterday that she will have to sit for an additional two hours under oath to answer questions not addressed in a previous deposition, including whether she was using drugs the day of the incident related to a 2007 car chase.  Lohan is being sued for assault, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress by Tracie Rice, the mother of Lohan’s former assistant, who was driving the car the actress was chasing the night of her first DUI arrest.During the May 4 deposition of the case, Lohan invoked her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and refused to answer, according to papers obtained by TMZ. The plaintiff’s attorney has made the case, according to TMZ, that self-incrimination isn’t a problem, as the criminal part of the case is over, with Lohan having pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A cocaine possession charge was dropped.
