Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva swap lawsuits

[HMG] – The news broke early this morning that troubled Hollywood star, Mel Gibson had filed a restraining order against his former lover, Oksana Grigorieva. But it appears the ‘true Hollywood story’ is the other way round.

The 54-year old actor filed the papers for a temporary restraining order against Oksana, only with respect to prohibiting her from releasing certain information, along with a notice of a forthcoming hearing and a notice of visitation rights and child custody at the Los Angeles Superior Court early Thursday. B.  Oksana was then served the papers at her Sherman Oaks home the same day.

But new reports have since proven that Oksana’s legal reps went to L.A’s family law court on Monday, and told the judge Mel became violent with her in the first place. Sources say Oksana claims in the documents that he was “extremely violent.”

The judge granted a restraining order banning Mel from having any level of contact with Oksana. On Tuesday,  his lawyers went to the same court and got that modified so Mel could visit their 7-month old daughter, Lucia.

But a source close to the case tells TMZ that Oksana’s newest allegations are questionable. They say the alleged events happened in January — after which the pair traveled the world together with no signs of distress.

“In these cases, when somebody cries wolf, the Judge is mandated to assume there’s a wolf – until a full hearing is held,” says the snitch.

A friend of Oksana’s agrees on the timing, but says the truth goes far deeper;

“There were other acts after January that were not physical but still constituted domestic violence,” we are told.

And the lady herself is quite clear on the case;

“He’s playing dirty. The truth will come out,” Oksana, 40, told reporters this morning. “What has been written is not true.”

But when asked if Mel ever hit her, Oksana was prudent;

“I can’t talk about that. There’s not much I can say right now because it’s a child custody issue, and my lawyers have told me not to talk.”

The pair emerged as a couple in April last year — just one month after Mel’s wife, Robyn filed for divorce. They broke up on April 14 of this year, saying they planned to raise Lucia together.

And apart from Lucia, Mel has seven other kids to support — Six sons and a daughter. Oksana, meanwhile has a 13-year old son, Alexander from a short-loved connection with former James Bond, Timothy Dalton.

Gibson’s reps quite understandably refused to comment about either court order when asked by the press…
