Katy Perry Gets 17 Stitches After Dancing Injury

(HMG) – Katy Perry went out clubbing in Toronto over the weekend after performing at the MuchMusic Awards, but somehow got hurt dancing. Katy attended an exclusive club after the main event and injured herself after falling over during some ‘overenthusiastic dancing.’

After a stint in the local hospital with the gash to her leg, Perry posted on her official Twitter page: “17 stitches later. Don’t make fun of my dance moves tomorrow.”

She added: “That’s what got me here in the first place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada.” ‘Thinking about getting a candy cane walker made for this performance coming up… I will be expecting YOU to dance for me, okay?’

That didn’t stop her though from performing on Canadian TV show Live @ Much last night, sporting a large surgical stocking as a new accessory as she sang her latest single California Gurls.
