Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are now unengaged and taking a break from relationship

(HMG) – Actress Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen who have been engaged since late 2008 are ‘taking a break’, UsMagazine is reporting. The couple met on the set of their 2008 film ‘Jumper’ and had been dating since.  But the former ‘The O.C.’ star Bilson was asked about her wedding plans at the Take No Prisoners event in L.A. last night, and she replied, “No, no plans” and pointed to her ringless finger and said, “No nothing.”  Oops!

As a followup, a source close to the couple confirmed to US,  they are “taking a break.” The pair is “taking a month off” and then deciding whether or not the relationship should continue. That usually doesn’t bode well!  The source claims they separated about two weeks ago.  Bilson will next be seen in the 2010 film ‘Waiting for Forever,’ while former Star Wars actor Christensen is attached to several upcoming films including ‘Takers,’ ‘Vanishing on 7th Street’ and ‘The Cold,’ according to IMDb.com.
