‘Party of Five’ actor, Jeremy London kidnapped and robbed

[HMG] – In what may be one of the improbable stories this site’s ever seen, Party of Five actor, Jeremy London is now claiming he was kidnapped at gunpoint and forced to smoke drugs.

The 37-year old actor was changing a flat tire on his car outside the Bahama Hotel & Apartments on North Palm Canyon Drive, late last Thursday. Two men stopped to help, then promptly bundled London into his car and drove him around the area at gun-point.

“He told officers he was forced to smoke dope, then purchase alcohol and hand it out in a gang area of Palm Springs,”  Sergeant Douglas of the Palm Springs PD has told Radar.

Jeremy managed to escape at around 3am the next day. His car was later found abandoned in one of the area’s less desirable neighborhoods, where one of the kidnappers lived. Two men have since been charged with the crime.

“By chance, an officer saw the three men and thought it was nice of them to stop and help someone,’” said Sergeant Douglas. “That helped to identify the suspects later on.”

And this comes at an unsettling time for the San Diego-born actor — In 2004 he was arrested for driving while suspended, and for carrying controlled substances. And last September he entered rehab to break an addiction to prescription pills.

He is also in the midst of a divorce from actress Melissa Cunningham, after four years of marriage. There also a child involved — their son Lyrik, who’s 3-years old.

“Jeremy said it was a terrorizing experience,” a source told the scribes of the kidnap. “He spent hours thinking he was going to die and he did what he had to do not to end up dead.”

Personally, I’d believe in Santa Claus before I’d buy this, but those are the facts, guys, so you’re free to decide…
