Charlie Sheen leaves keys in car again with same bad result

Charlie Sheen[HMG] – If you thought life could not get much harder for Charlie Sheen, you’d be wrong — The Two and a Half Men star has now had his car stolen. Twice.

The 44-year old actor’s Mercedes was stolen from outside his home sometime last night, then dumped on Mulholland Drive. And this is the second time in four months Charlie’s car has been the focus of theft.

In February, several cars were stolen or vandalized in Charlie’s neighborhood.  His Mercedes was among them, but he got it back — A less lucky owner had his Bentley rolled off a cliff. And those things don’t bounce.

This time, Police were called to the scene on Mulholland at about 3am and found a Mercedes at the bottom of a cliff. They checked the registration, found it was Chuck’s and went to his home to fill out a report.

And the detectives soon learned why the theft was so easy — Chuck left the keys in the ignition. Just like he did when it was stolen in February.

He also told police the last time he saw the car in his drive was around 4pm yesterday, and had no idea it was stolen until they showed up.

Charlie lives in a gated community and the only way out is to drive past the guard house. It has video surveillance installed, but that showed no sign of the car leaving in February. Police are now checking if there is tape of the crooks driving Chuck’s car away this time.

One police source tells TMZ they regard this latest theft as ‘suspicious.’ We’ll keep you updated…
