Heidi Montag suspects Spencer Pratt of ‘affairs’

[HMG] – In their ongoing quest to be welcome relief from the effects of intelligence it’s now being claimed that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are claiming each other has been having affairs, and Heidi’s even hired a private eye to get the scoop on her husband.

Since their much-publicized ‘separation,’ Heidi, 23, is now staying at the Malibu home of a man who may truly possess the only name dumber than that of her spouse — Cougar Zank, a wannabe-actor and Spencer’s close friend.

Spencer moved the bit-part actor into their luxurious Pacific Palisades homeearly this year, claiming the two needed to work on a script. But when he and Heidi ‘split’ last month, Cougar invited Heidi to share his home in Malibu.

And that made Spencer mad.

“He’s convinced the only reason Cougar sided with Heidi is that he wants her for himself,” a source now tells Radar.

With ‘The Hills’ now canceled and her career in decline, Heidi has also been scouring New York to find a production house dumb enough to fund her next self-indulgence. And Cougar went along on the trip.

“They are definitely friends,”says the pal. “I don’t know if there is anything more to it, but Spencer’s certain there is.”

Heidi’s big idea is that she and ‘Hills’ co-star Jen Bunney should be sent all over world, with one lucky network paying their bills.

And her first stop to find the right sucker was the NYC offices of British production house, ITV – The same people whose ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ was reduced to a farce when they last worked with her.

Oh, and we’re also supposed to believe she’s preparing to file for divorce;

“She’s just getting organized, then it will be filed,” the source claims. “She had to get the separation petition done in a rush to stop the money flow. Everyone knows she’s made more money than Spencer, and she needs to protect it.”

Next up on this endless banquet of BS is Heidi’s belief that Spencer’s been dating since the pair split in May.

“Heidi has hired a former member of the Sheriff’s department to look into it,” says the source. “She’s anxious to find out if her suspicions are true; Especially if he’s spent any money on another woman.”

If he has, it’s my guess she’s inflatable — the rest wouldn’t touch him.
