Idiots are driving around drunk but cops intend to prosecute Chace Crawford for marijuana possession

(HMG) – - Here’s some hypocrisy for you in our unbalanced legal system. Let’s vehemently prosecute for having a joint of marijuana in your possession, but let some one go without even checking who was allegedly drinking and crashed into three cars (see the January Jones post below this one for that story. So Gossip Girl star, Chace Crawford who plays weed loving Nate Archibald,was busted early last Friday in Plano, Tex. for marijuana possession. The actor, 24, was arrested just past midnight in a Nissan parked outside Ringo’s Pub, carrying less than two ounces of the drug. In case you were wondering what Chace was doing in Plano, he is a native of the Lone Star State, born in Lubbock and raised in Plano, so he was just revisiting his old stomping grounds and apparently just getting a buzz on.  The case went to the DA’s office and TMZ now reports that Chace has now been charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. If convicted, Crawford faces a maximum of six months behind bars.
