Settlement in doubt as Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren battle over custody of children
(HMG) – Another report is confirming that divorce talks between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have gone from fairly civil to quite acrimonious. According to RadarOnline, Elin Nordegren has decided to go for full custody of their two children. This is something Tiger won”t readily agree to, especially after recently hiring Thomas Sasser from West Palm Beach, Florida, “an expert in enforcing international child custody agreements.” Radar notes that Elin still wants Tiger to be a big part of their children’s lives, but she has decided not to agree to joint custody. For now Elin and Tiger live in separate houses, approximately a mile apart and share the children, but after the divorce they are not likely to stay in close proximity. Elin bought a secluded house last year in Sweden, and is reportedly interested in moving there when the couple divorces.
She or better said her lawyers are reportedly also demanding an estimated $750 million and supposedly refuses to sign a lifetime “confidentiality clause” that would prevent her from writing a book or doing any interviews related to the collapse of the couple’s marriage. These items seem to be negotiable items, but the custody of their two kids, seems to be the main sticking point to coming up with an agreement. I am pretty certain Tiger and his legal team want to desperately avoid going to court, and open himself up to more public humiliation but a settlement sounds less certain now with this custody issue.
Elin should have full custody of the children. Tiger Woods has serious emotional and character issues. Tiger did not seem to want his children. He told his mistresses that Elin’s pregnancies stressed him out. He showed careless disregard for the health and wellbeing of his wife and children by having unprotected sex with promiscuous partners, potentially exposing them to STD, HIV, hepatitis, and herpes. Some of these conditions can be dormant and could take years to show. Tiger disrespected his wife and children by bringing his mistresses to the family home for sexual activity. Tiger has been basically an absentee father. There seems to be very little evidence of his involvement with the children’s day to day activities. It has been reported that Tiger has missed important milestone of his children life, such as his daughter’s christening and his son’s first birthday and first steps. All the time that Tiger spent with his mistresses was time that he deprived his children of his presence an attention. Tiger even texted his mistresses while “on daddy dutyâ€. Tiger appears to have used his children only to gain the favor of sponsors and fans.

He did nothing that millions of people..men and women..do all the time..Even his wife admits she wants Tiger in the kids life..He has been a good father and a lousy husband. That is why they have divorce court. To let people move on..not to persecute people who are human..

Tiger is not a suitable father:
-He is never seen with his children
-He is a serial adulterer
-He did not keep his agreement to finish treatment before returning to the road
-He works on the road and is not often home
-He is under enormous public scrutiny
=None of the above is good for children
Elin is a suitable mother:
-She was a nanny, and hence is CPR certified
-She is always seen with the children
-She is always available for the children
-She is not an adulterer
-She is the current and former fulltime parent of the children
=All of the above is good for children
Ultimately, Tiger has no grounds to argue for full custody other than “its good for the biological father to have access to the children” – which can be worked out without 50/50 custody.
50% custody however would mean that Tiger would need:
-To not date women that look exactly like the childrens mother
-To not date a string of women at all
-That the children meet none of these women until the relationship is essentially permanent
-That Tiger does not travel 50% of the time (when he has his children)
-That Tiger stay out of the public eye when with his children
-That he complete and continue to complete addiction and sex therapy classes
If Tiger met these conditions for 50%, he would have an argument FOR 50%.
Currently, he has no argument FOR 50% and no argument against his wife having 100%.
Furthermore, he stands to lose enormously if the divorce goes to court, because all 121 girls on that list will be subpoenaed, and if only 15 came forward, 106 have a reason for nobody to know. If those women are subpoenaed, it will ruin a bunch more marraiges, and in many states you may sue the adulterer who ruined your marraige. So Tiger stands to lose and face more ugly lawsuits if it goes public.
He should never have hired the custody expert, because by pushing Elin simply pushed back – except she is holding ALL of the cards, and I am sure she knows it.
David, you are 100% correct!!! This is exactly what I have been saying all along, a contested divorce will be a disaster for Tiger Woods in view of the ovelwhelming evidence available against him! Tiger was a terrible husband and father and he only thinks on himself and nothing else!!!

Elin should give up custody of the kids. It’s obvious Elin create a bitter atmosphere for the children with her animosity towards her husband. Her attitude is even worse than the effect Tiger has on his kids for his sexual misconduct. The kids do sense the negativity. Tiger might be a philanderer but that doesn’t make him a bad father. If Elin has already made her decision to divorce, then it is not worth it for Tiger to waste time on her anyway. Tiger should move on and get back his career. Why let such a negative person like Elin put you down? Why does she take a long time to work out the divorce? Just file and move on. Elin should stop torturing Tiger by prolonging the process. Kill the uncertainty and the repeated useless rumors.
No responsible Court on this land will overlook Tiger Woods serious emotional and character issues, before granting parental custody on this case. The court basically looks for what is to be in the best interest of the children. Among the things the Court considers are which parent is best suited and capable to meet the day to day needs of the children, provide a stable home, love, a nurturing environment and emotional wellbeing. It seems to me that Elin Nordegren has been a loving, caring mother to her children. She has being there for her children all along, while Tiger was running around with every W-H-O-R-E, in and out of town. Up to recently, it appears that Elin was in favor of sharing the children’s custody with Tiger providing he kept clean from addictions and continues Rehab but something must have happened that made Elin changed her mind.
Many men and women have committed adultery. Tiger Woods is not the first. I doubt any court would base fitness for being a parent on a wrong committed by a spouse on another. Emotionally charged and obscene language on some of the mistresses by Carmen does not really help her argument. Carmen does not need that.
Tiger Woods has shown the world that he is incapable of making wise choices for his own life. On the contrary, the choices he has made over the years have threatened the lives of his wife and children. How can the lives of his children be entrusted to him now? He is certainly not capable of making the right choices for these children’s lives. This is what the judges need to look at. Lives are at stake. This is a serious matter. Emotions must be left out of this decision and the facts need to be looked at objectively. Too much damage has already been done. These kids need to be shielded from seeing situations such as live pornography on their father’s kitchen floor, garage, living room couch; pornography that includes their father.
I agree wholeheartedly. Tiger Woods should never have any say in these children’s lives. He should have visitation rights for he IS their biological father and they need to know who he is. However, he should not have custody. If he does, he will inevitably make horrible decisions concerning these innocent babies that will harm them. Look at what this man has done already! It is amazing! After 6 months of hearing this Tiger Woods story, I am still amazed that one human being could be so cruel and uncaring to those he supposedly “loves”! If given even partial custody, he will inevitably destroy these beautiful,trusting children’s lives with his selfish, uncaring ways. Elin knows this. She knows him better than we all do. She knows what he is capable of. And she is making the best decision for these children now!
Tiger Woods obviously has not changed. He continues to lie, and to cheat on the wife he is still married to. He continues to disrespect her even as the media is focused on the scandal.What will he do when the divorce is over and the media spotlight is not there. Can you just imagine the orgies that will be happening in the Woods household when there is no more wife? Remember what used to happen when Elin went to Sweden? He was still married then, so just imagine what will be taking place soon. Do you think the children should be living with Tiger Woods? Really? In these types of scenarios? Remember his ability to make the right decisions? Imagine one of the children waking up from sleep and walking into one of his orgies. Wow. Scarred for life!
