Heidi Montag separates and moves out of home shared with Spencer Pratt

(HMG) – As much as they were two peas in a pod in some ways, I could see the writing on the wall on this one. White Wolf and Running Bear are no more. TMZ got the scoop first that Heidi Montag has separated from husband Spencer Pratt. Not long ago Heidi had hired Malibu psychic Aiden Chase to replace Spencer Pratt as her business manger. It didn’t last long as she fired him two weeks later, but it was perhaps a cry for independence a week or so ago. Since then there were reports that Spencer was literally keeping Heidi on a short leash, only allowing her out three times in the past month in an effort to isolate her from everyone.  Things went further downhill when Heidi, 23, filed a restraining order against her mom Darlene after she arrived at her LA home and refused to leave. Heidi’s rep has confirmed to TMZ that Heidi has moved out: “Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls. She’s tired of it and is looking for a place and wants to focus on her acting career.”   I give Spencer some credit for keeping them in the news with his shameless promotion but you could see that Heidi was wanting to make her own choices.  I think Heidi is quite delusional about her ambitions to have a serious acting career, but she probably needs to find that out for herself.  I don’t see either of these two keeping what’s happened to split them up a secret.  So look for this to get ugly soon.
