Sarah Ferguson gaffe illicits Oprah Winfrey invite

[HMG] – First reaction to this, is way to reward a person that apparently just did something awful, with some TV time and the paycheck that probably goes with it.  Just days after, New of the World ran a sting, where The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson was caught on video offering ‘open door access’ to her former husband, Prince Andrew, for $724,000, she’s been invited to tell her side of the story to Oprah Winfrey.

Caught red haired and handed attempting the shakedown, Sarah has since issued a statement apologizing for causing embarrassment and “a serious lapse in judgment.”

It is believed the Duchess will use her appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show,” which will air Tuesday, to issue a public apology in person.

Currently in New York to promote a new line of children’s books, the 50-year old ex-Royal is also scheduled to fly back to Britain to face both the Prince, and probably his mother to try and explain this latest mistake.
