‘Girls Gone Wild’ founder Joe Francis facing new assault claims
[HMG] – In another example of how even minor celebrity can make those around it deeply vindictive, ‘Girls Gone Wild’ producer Joe Francis has been hit by more allegations of assault and abuse.
The 37-year old Laguna Beach native has now been accused of attacking two female employees after discovering one of them was leaking unflattering details about him to an unnamed online source.
“The employee was using the phone to send an article to a media outlet about the bad things he was doing at his company,”a source tells Radar.
After reading her text, Joe allegedly became angry.
“He physically attacked the employee, and another woman in the accounting department,” claims the source.
At around 4:40pm on Friday two patrol cars from the Santa Monica PD then responded to a ‘disturbance’ call at Joe’s business, but their report says it was merely a ‘civil dispute’ with allegations that Joe ‘pushed’ the two women.
“Joe fired all the employees involved, even if they only viewed the event,” the source continues to whine. “The police were called and took statements.”
The police report also says there were no injuries, and officers decided no arrests should be made. The whole overblown case is now in the hands of Santa Monica’s District Attorney, who must decide whether to proceed with charges or not.
And this is not the first time Joe has been the focus of unwelcome attention from law enforcement — On August 28th last year, former Playmate Jayde Nicole claimed Joe ‘assaulted’ her at the ‘Guys and Dolls’ nightclub in West Hollywood.
The LA District Attorney explored the case and concluded that; “Nicole appears to have acted without provocation in her assault against Francis.”
Their report says that Nicole threw a drink at Joe from behind, he grabbed her and they fell to the floor. Other guests broke it up, but Nicole’s then-boyfriend, Brody Jenner, still apparently wanted a fight and hit Joe in the face.
Jayde then tried to press charges like she was the victim. The DA dismissed the whole case ‘in the interest of justice.’
