Amanda Seyfried taking a break from Dominic Cooper

(HMG) – The relationship between Dominic Cooper and Amanda Seyfried has taken a timeout, leaving some to speculate that Lindsay Lohan may have had a hand in the break-up (though we think she was a rebound at best). Reports surfaced Wednesday morning that Lindsay and Dominic were getting super close at the Belvedere party at Cannes Tuesday night, and then late Wednesday afternoon People Magazine confirmed that Amanda and Dom had parted ways, saying:

“Amanda and Dominic have been on and off for a while — and right now they’re taking a break,” a source says. “But they’re great friends and could still get back together.”

The two meet on the set of “Mamma Mia!” in 2008, and have tried to maintain a long distance.  But the writing was kind of on the wall with this relationship as, Amanda told Teen Vogue in a recent interview that she wasn’t sure that Dom was her one and only:

“A lot of people ask me, ‘Is Dominic the one?’ I don’t know, and I’m fine with that,” she told Teen Vogue in its June issue. “Too much planning can lead to heartbreak. Love is great and possible always, but it’s very rare to have the feeling that ‘I want to be with this person forever’.”
