Halle Berry facing child custody war
[HMG] – We reported recently on how Halle Berry and former beau, Gabriel Audry were caught in an unfriendly break-up. Well, being Hollywood, things have since got much worse.
The pair split several months ago and have since been to a lawyer to resolve custody and financial details regarding their two-year old daughter, Nahla. But Halle, 43, is now booked for a three-month movie shoot in South Africa, so Gabriel is considering getting full legal custody.
“It’s been difficult for Gabriel to see Nahla the last few weeks,” a source told Radar. “And he’s seriously considering pursuing permanent custody. [The shoot] would mean Gabriel not seeing her for three months and there’s no way he’s going to take that.”
Gabriel, 34, initially tried to persuade Halle to leave Nahla with him, but that effort went nowhere.
“The two reached a total stalemate and it got nasty, with both of them looking at starting a legal battle,” the source claims. “In the end they reached an agreement: Halle will pay for Gabriel to go to South Africa and be Nahla’s full-time caregiver.”
Halle has a house rented for the length of the shoot and they will live there full-time. But there’s also ‘Plan B”…
“If it doesn’t work out she’s agreed to rent a house for Gabriel nearby. Then he gets to be with Nahla while Halle’s working, and returns to his place at night.”
Sounds almost cozy. So could we see a rebound on their romance from this? Apparently…no.
“This is not an attempt at reconciliation,” we’re told. “It’s over between them. If it wasn’t for the fact of sharing a child, they’d quite happily never see each other again.”
The feeling’s quite mutual. So who do you want to win the custody war?…
I find it rather sad that overall there is constant bitching from women who think their “baby daddies” are not available. When you have a dad who wants to be involved, many of the scenarios being played out today, prevents the father from being in the child’s life. Be honest, those of you you have children and keep them away from the father, you just wanted a sperm donor and the $$$$ for support. Perhaps in this case, scratch the support part, but who knows. Pity you and the eventual psychological damage you are giving your child. Everyone always sees the light when it is too late. Have dual custody and for god be civil when you both have to be around the child. It makes no matter how big a celebrity you are, screwing you kid (s) should not be an option to your spoiled behavior! Shame on you Halle!

I am fair both parents should be apart of a child’s life,I came from a broken family. I always wanted my daughter to have both parents, but some time it comes back to haunt you. Let me tell you my story. Me, my daughter and her father moved to his home town of Connecticut. I had to come see about my mom who was sick. You know what the did told the people I left her, they never served me with the papers. Think God his sister found out and told me, a couple days before court him and his mom put me out. When it was time to go in front of the judge I was sleeping under some stairs. I don’t have no family there but I had to go because that was my baby. We got joint custody with him having physical custody. We stayed together after that and he left in 09. I could not go through the physical, emotional, mentally and verbally abuse no more. But I believe in God it was not easy to let my baby girl go with her looking in my eyes asking me if I am coming back to get her. A year later he is in jail for neglect cause he was doing ANGEL DUST around her. Right now I am trying to get her out of Foster Care. But that same state he praised is the same state he say is trying to railroad him. So if you never been through it don’t judge you don’t know what we go through. I have lost weight and my hair has came out. If you are a good father do your thing but don’t dog us cause in the end your stuff will come out to. Keep your head up Hallie with me seeing what you are going through has gave me strength and I go to court on 2/7 fight for your baby. If you are willing to put millions on hold you are a good mother, it is not easy but think GOD everyday and keep your haters as your motivators. I am praying for you girl, I am not rich but it don’t matter we all can go through this baby girl. God can read everyone hearts even if it seems like they are winning keep your faith it takes you longer than any hater, I have just as much haters like I am on t.v, your baby will always know where the real love is A STRONG MOTHER JUST LIKE YOU
