John Travolta(HMG) – Tragedy has struck John Travolta’s family yet again. Two of the family dogs were killed in a freak accident at Bangor International Airport.

The “Saturday Night Fever” and “Pulp Fiction” actor is an accomplished pilot who often flies to Bangor while en route to his home on Islesboro, off the Maine coast.

City officials said the two small dogs were hit by an airport service vehicle last Thursday, while they were being walked, after arriving on an airplane with members of Travolta’s family.  It’s not known whether John was in the cockpit at the time.

“Clearly, this is an unfortunate accident. Our deepest sympathies are with the family,” Airport Director Rebecca Hupp told the Bangor Daily News.

Travolta and wife Kelly Preston’s 16-year-old son, Jett, died tragically on Jan. 2, 2009, after having a seizure during a family vacation in the Bahamas.
