Bret Michaels Gearing to Return to Celebrity Apprentice Finale and Get Back to Touring

(HMG) – Word is that irrepressible Bret Michaels, who beat the odds by surviving a non-aneurysmal brain hemorrhage, is pushing himself for what would likely be a dramatic first public appearance at the May 23 finale of The Celebrity Apprentice. Still on meds and feeling tired, Michaels is stepping up his physical therapy with sources saying: “He’s still in rehab. His doctor told him to do physical therapy once a day, but he’s doing it twice a day, because he wants a speedy, 100 percent recovery.”

The Poison front man whose Roses & Thorns tour, was first interrupted by his emergency appendectomy on April 12 is also keen to get back to the stage soon.

“It’s looking likely that his first date back will be May 28 at the Hard Rock in Mississippi,” the same source tells People Magazine, who confirms that Michael’s crew will keep bus drivers informed of all the closest hospitals on each of their routes, just to play it safe.
