The real reason why Tiger Woods’ swing coach quit?
[HMG] – While his fans have shown great endurance, some of Tiger Woods’ aides have proven less solid; And Hank Haney, Tiger’s long-time swing coach, has now decided to end his link with the golfer.
The 54-year old teacher has been close friends with Tiger since they met in 1985, and they gelled right away;
“Hank could spot his amazing talent — he knew he would go far.” a source tells Radar. “So when Tiger asked him to be his coach he had no hesitation. He viewed Tiger as a private, intelligent person and had nothing but respect for him…But that’s changed.”
Hank’s official statement merely says he’s loved working with Tiger, but feels it’s time to step down.
“I will always look back on our past half-dozen years together as my best days in professional golf,” it reads. “It would be a dream of any coach to have a student like Tiger, and for me it was a dream come true.”
The brief message does not list his reasons for this sudden retreat, but a close friend fills in the blanks;
“Hank is a good and moral man, and very private,” says the pal. “He’s been horrified by the revelations regarding Tiger’s behavior and says he has no regard for a person who acts like that.”
And Tiger’s future is also a cause of concern, we are told;
“Tiger’s not turning it around, maybe he’s not trying hard. But Hank is not the kind of man to get involved in anything like that; He’ll stay away from it – even if he knew something was going on, which I don’t believe he did.” says the friend.
And Tiger has no chance for appeal; “Hank gave it a ton of thought and just decided ‘I’m done.’ And when Hank is done, he’s done; There’s no persuading otherwise.”
With Tiger’s natural gift for the game and huge international profile, a replacement will soon be secured. It’s just a shame that previous poor choices have damaged his future – again…
Tiger’s coach left when he realised that Tiger is not a changed man as he claims to be. It seems that Tiger continues to take advantage of others for his own selfish purposes. So much for going back to Buddhism! Tiger Woods is such a despicable hypocrite! It is now very evident that his big acts of contrition and repentance were all for show! Tiger is a shameless, pervert adulterer that caused too much hurt, pain and suffering to his wife and children and irreparable damage to his marriage with his selfish, reckless and sordid behavior. No decent and moral person would want to be associated with him.
This “source” is quoted by Radar Online and this is to be believed? I am not a fan of Tiger’s, but do think that he is trying to get on with his life and the media and websites are not letting him have any privacy. He did nothing to anyone, but Elin and the children and this story about his swing coach is just another indication of how the stories come to be blown out of context. All the websites such as Radar Online and TMZ and the “media” need to crawl back under their rock. When they have actual quotes with people’s name then they will be credible.
I get such a kick out of comments, like the above, about how the media should back off and are getting out of control — because these comments are being made on the very sites they’re complaining about.
If you hate the media for what they’re doing, why are you supporting them by reading and commenting?

It seems that anything Hank Haney cannot fix then he quits.. Example look at Charles Barkley. Charles had a terrible swing and Hank was supposed to fix it … Well Hank failed and my understanding was he gave up on Charles.
So I say Shame on Hank for letting Tiger’s personal life get involved with a work relationship. If Tiger was having problems and his game was being affected then Hank should have had no problem working past it … That is if he is a good coach, I think he is nothing great and no better than the other Tour Coaches
