Kate Hudson mad at Cameron Diaz for dating A-Rod

[HMG] – As if being banned from the benches by her hunky new beau was not bad enough, now Cameron Diaz is apparently locked in a ‘war’ with Kate Hudson over her romance with A-Rod.

Kate dated Alex from May to December last year, and sources say she believes Cameron’s only dating him now to hurt Kate after she got cozy with Justin Timberlake in 2007 – just two days after the end of his four-year romance with Cameron.

“Kate thinks it’s payback, pure and simple,” an insider says.

And there may even be one shred of truth in this boundless delusion;

“Cameron was actually in a serious relationship with Justin,” says a close friend of Cam. “She thinks it’s a joke Kate would be mad. Kate’s only upset because she hates being single.”

One source even claims Kate’s infamous boob job was just one more ploy to win A-Rod back, because he likes ‘busty women.’

Another aspect of Kate’s unique persona, according to friends, is that she gets ‘crazy jealous’ and hates her men to even get near other women…Which may explain her less than glowing review of the 37-year old Ms. Diaz.

“Kate thinks Cameron is an aging old lady, struggling to remain sexy and relevant,” a close friend tells Us.

And with that level of vengeful, acerbic humanity Kate will be lucky to ever date a good man again…

P.S. Kate is now the new face of cosmetics brand Almay this fall, following in the footsteps of celebrity faces Leslie Bibb and Elaine Irwin Mellencamp. Hudson, will appear in TV and print ads for the label beginning in August.
