Tiger Woods losing his wife and swing coach!
(HMG) – As we mentioned yesterday, Tiger Woods has hired a high-profile divorce lawyer as he and wife Elin Nordegren attempt to negotiate joint custody of their children, before filing for divorce. The couple’s relationship fell apart last year with reports of a sex scandal involving Woods and as many as 121 mistresses. The plan is to strike agreements on child custody and division of assets … and then quietly and quickly file divorce papers to end their marriage. TMZ.com said Monday the world’s top golfer has hired Thomas Sasser from West Palm Beach, Florida, “an expert in enforcing international child custody agreements.”
“And sources say the custody agreement is going to be a central issue in Tiger and Elin’s divorce,” the website is reporting.
“Sources say Tiger and Elin are trying to work out an arrangement where Elin can take the two kids with her to Sweden, but Tiger will have either custody or visitation rights as well.”
Sasser represented NASCAR star Jeff Gordon in his 2003 divorce.
Meanwhile Tiger Woods’ longtime swing coach resigned Monday night, leaving the world’s No. 1 player without one of his top advisers as he tries to rebuild his game.
Hank Haney said in a statement to the Golf Channel that he enjoyed working with Woods but he thinks it’s time for him to step aside as his coach.
“I will always look back upon our past half-dozen years together as my best days in professional golf,” he said. “It would be a dream of any coach to have a student like Tiger Woods and for me it has come true. Just so there is no confusion I would like to make it clear that this is my decision.
“I know Tiger Woods will be successful in the future no matter who helps him.”
There had been speculation at The Players Championship that Woods was about to leave Haney, his swing coach since 2004. Haney started working with Tiger after he had a falling out with previous coach Butch Harmon. Many have been critical of the swing changes Haney made after Tiger left Harmon. Butch now famously works with Phil Mickelson who seems destined to take the number 1 player of the year away from Tiger soon, unless he is able to bounce back from his neck injury and regather his form soon, which seems unlikely.

I think that this is not going to be a contested divorce for the benefit of all parties involved, but mostly Tiger’s due to the overwhelming evidence available against him. The fact is that no responsible Court on this land will overlook Tiger Woods serious emotional and character issues, before granting parental custody on this case. The court basically looks for what is to be in the best interest of the children. Among the things considered are which parent is best suited and capable to meet the day to day needs of the children, provide a stable home, love, a nurturing environment and emotional wellbeing. It seems to me that Elin Nordegren has been a loving, caring mother to her children. She has being there for her children all along, while Tiger was running around with every W-H-O-R-E, in and out of town. To me Tiger has been more of an absentee or part- time father. I also think that Elin has been in favor of sharing the children’s custody with Tiger providing he keeps clean from addictions and continues rehab. Tiger can consider himself very lucky if he gets share custody.
