Halle Berry dumped Gabriel Aubry as ‘loser’ boyfriend

[HMG] – When Halle Berry and her friend, Canadian model Gabriel Aubry announced their romance was over after four years of dating and a two-year old child the rumor-mill went into meltdown. But the real reasons for the split are far better.

Sources close to the ex-couple insist the true cause of their breakup was Halle’s fantastically low opinion of Gabriel’s whole life;

“Halle called him a loser,” one source tells Us. “She’d rub it in his face that she’s an Oscar-winning actress and he’s just a model. He couldn’t take it anymore.”

It seems Halle, 43, would not only boast of her Oscar, but would also point out Gabriel’s faults, such as how ‘Cafe Fuego,’ the Cuban-themed eatery he opened in New York in 2006 went bust in less than two years.

Friends also claim the public split was just for appearances — the pair actually parted much earlier, after weeks of endless bickering in secret.

“She kicked him out months ago because he wasn’t able to pull his weight in the relationship – and she wanted to move on,” says a friend of the pair.

The doomed romance began when the pair met at photo shoot for Versace in 2005. Their daughter Nahla arrived in March of 2008, but now all that’s left are the usual cliches from the reps:

“Berry and Aubry have been split for some time, but they remain close friends and committed parents to their daughter,” Halle’s rep has since told CNN.

And this is not even Halle’s first romantic flame-out – She married the former Yankees player, David Justice in 1992 and divorced him in five years, then married R&B singer Eric Benet in 2001 and they hit divorce in ’05, with Halle claiming adultery by Eric.

But don’t mourn for her, guys — Halle’s already been spied holding hands with a new guy in New York. Insiders claim they’re ‘old friends,’ but we’ve heard that one before.
