Blackmailed actor David Boreanaz confesses affair(s) with mystery woman but is it Rachel Uchitel?

(HMG) – This is pretty weird and heavy stuff indeed. Bones star David Boreanaz went public today admitting that he has been unfaithful to his wife of nearly nine years, Jaime Bergman.  David admitted to PEOPLE mag he had a relationship with a woman, but “She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed….”

He also made the statement that makes it sound like this wasn’t the only affair saying:

“Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities,” the actor admits to PEOPLE. “I just want to be open and honest. I was irresponsible.”

Here’s where it gets real interesting because TMZ claims they know the back story to Boreanaz preemptive admission to People.  They say, Gloria Allred contacted Boreanaz’ lawyer legal pit bull Marty Singer and demanded six figures on behalf of a woman (who they don’t name) that had the affair. As you may recall Allred represented Tiger Woods’ number 1 mistress Rachel Uchitel, and shook the golfer down for a large sum of cash for her silence.  And Uchitel allegedly also had an affair with David Boreanaz when his wife was pregnant earlier last year.  But is the unnamed woman Uchitel, or a different gold digging harlot that tried to shake down the former Angel star? They say the woman in question had a short-term relationship, hooking up “2 or 3 times,” with Boreanaz. TMZ sources say he started paying her money — several thousand dollars here and there — but she began demanding more, threatening to go public with the affair. Boreanaz then confessed the affair to Jaime Bergman, his wife of 9 years.  Boreanaz is now trying to salvage his relationship with his wife.

“We’re working on our marriage,” he says. “We’re working on repairing what has been damaged so badly.”

P.S. Apparently when you have an attorney representing you it’s not extortion, when you pull this crap.  But I think what Gloria Allred and her client are doing shouldn’t be legal.  What do you think?
