Lindsay Lohan may be facing jail time on yet another issue – Danny Bonaduce thinks that might be a good thing
(HMG) – With all the talk of interventions and conservatorship, it may be Lindsay Lohan’s laziness that ends up getting her put away for a while, and in this case we mean jail time. In this case we’re not talking about the Rolex watch, police think she may have stolen, or the third strike she faces on May 4, if she doesn’t show, after blowing off two depositions for her 2007 (alleged drug fueled) rampage in a hijacked SUV with three hostages. No this time our home girl, is headed for a showdown in court next month, for violating the terms of her DUI probation. Lindsay was warned sternly late last year by a judge, that she must attend alcohol education courses once every 7 days, or she was going to jail. Lindsay has skirted the issue so far according to TMZ, because the school is required by state law to inform the court only if the student is MIA for 21 days, and she frequently waits until the 21st day to attend classes to keep the heat off. But Lindsay is scheduled to have a progress hearing on May 20th with the same judge, who swore no more chances, it’s every 7 days, or she was going to jail. So if the judge Marsha Revel sticks to her word Lindsay is going to be in jail one way or another soon. And according to fellow childhood star Danny Bonaduce, jail is the only way to help Lindsay Lohan. Bonaduce in an interview with ‘The Early Show’ (video below), said rehab has a 96 percent failure rate. The radio host, himself a recovering addict, blasted both Lindsay’s parents too.
“Michael Lohan is a criminal and a thug. I don’t believe that either of those parents see a child when they look at their daughter. I think they see a big bag of money. I think, in a family portrait, you see Mr. and Mrs. Lohan, the family dog, the sister and a sack full of money in a Girl Scout outfit. I don’t believe that they care about her anywhere but financial financially.”  I think the sad part is I have such a distaste for the Lohans that you got to remember Elvis Presley made $55 million last year. She’s not done making money if she happens to pass away. And I personally, and this is just my opinion, think these two are vile enough to go, Plan B is, if she passes away, let’s make Lindsay clocks.”
Would rehab help Lindsay?
“Rehabs,” Bonaduce replied, “have a national record of a 96 percent failure record. If you want her off drugs for real, handcuff her and — it’s very difficult to do drugs with your hands chained behind your back. Let’s stop playing around with these kids. If you don’t want the kid to die, put her in jail with her hands tied behind her back. Everybody says there’s all these drugs in jail — and there are drugs in jail — but believe me, they’re not real easy to come by, especially if you’re Lindsay Lohan.”
Bonaduce added that he only did the interview “because I actually believe she was the one that had talent. She should have made it. The rest of us, we were cute once and we grew out of it. She could have been a real star and I hope she gets it together.”
