Billy Joel’s Daughter Alexa Ray Admits Nose Job – Mom Christie Brinkley Denies Face Lift

(HMG) – Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley’s daughter Alexa Ray underwent an elective rhinoplasty procedure earlier this month at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York Cit, and insists her confidence has already been given a boost.

She tells People.com, “I was thinking about getting this for years. (My nose) always bothered me a little bit. I was self-conscious of pictures taken from the side. To some people that’s vain, but at the end of the day, we all want to feel pretty.”

But Joel insists she’s done with plastic surgery She adds, “Would I do anything else to my body? No.”

Joel’s nose job comes just four months after the singer was hospitalized following an overdose scare. She experienced breathing difficulties allegedly after taking homeopathic medication Traumeel to deal with a severe bout of depression following her split from her boyfriend.  There are rumors that former supermodel Christie Brinkley also checked into the cosmetic surgery clinic a day before  her daughter, to undergo a facelift.  But a spokeswoman for the 56 year old Brinkley, is adamant she wasn’t at the hospital for an operation, just to support her daughter.  The two Alexa showed off her/their new looks on Sunday at the Tribeca Film Festival (where the after photo below was snapped), and they attended the “Last Play at Shea” after-party at 675 Bar according to Page Six.
