Tito Ortiz claims Jenna Jameson’s addiction to Oxycontin caused fight but he never laid a hand on her

(HMG) – Well there’s another side to the domestic violence incident that saw UFC fighter Tito Ortiz thrown in jail after allegedly striking his girlfriend ex-porn star Jenna Jameson.  The only details reported yesterday was that Jenna had “visible injuries,”  and she intended to press charges.  Jenna claims that during an argument Monday morning she, “said something very hurtful to his ego.” She alleges that Tito then grabbed her and, “threw me into the bathtub and tore two ligaments in my shoulder.” Jenna and Tito are parents to six week old twin boys Jesse and Journey.

But several hours after posting bail, Tito got his chance to speak, and claims Jameson is addicted to Oxycontin, and he blames her drug use for his arrest Monday on suspicion of domestic violence.  Ortiz and his attorney held a hastily arranged news conference at an Italian restaurant in North Hollywood, and claimed the fighter never struck her.

“Jenna Jameson has been fighting an ugly battle with an addiction to Oxycontin for well over a year, and this morning, she had a relapse,” attorney Chip Matthews said. “We’re here because Tito was trying to help her. Tito Ortiz never laid a hand on Jenna.”

Ortiz wept openly during the conference, saying the support of his family and Jameson’s father “just means the world to me.”

“My parents have gone through an addiction, and I’m seeing a mirror of that,” Ortiz said. “I hold everything dear to my heart that Jenna will be OK.”

So who do you want to believe? The fighter who is accused of violence or the ex porn star accused of using drugs? Getting past the stereotypes, was Jenna using drugs during her whole pregnancy?
