Jesse James obsessed with Nazis, says his dad

[HMG] – When the tasteless photo of Sandra Bullock’s soon-to-be-ex, Jesse James dressed in Nazi gear surfaced the world was appalled. But one man was not even phased — Jesse’s father.

“I don’t ever recall my son dressing like that, but he did have a fascination with the Nazis,” Larry James has told TMZ. “He liked the war machines, their uniforms, their guns; He liked everything about them.”

Although not on good terms with his son — the two have not spoken or met in six years — Larry says Jesse’s obsession with Nazi memorabilia dates back to his childhood. Initially, Larry allowed it and bought his son books on the war.

But Larry soon grew concerned when he introduced Jesse to a real-life Nazi. After meeting the tall, blond-haired, blue eyed acquaintance Larry recalls Jesse saying,

“There’s a perfect example for the master race.”

Larry had given his son all the man’s information about the Neo-Nazi movement, thinking Jesse’s interest was harmless. But it was clearly no longer a game;

“Jesse started getting really interested, so I destroyed all the information and didn’t let him go any further,” says Larry, who because of the feud with his son has never even met Sandra Bullock.

And while the photo of him in the hat caused a stir, Jesse’s attorney, Joe Yanny, says it was given to his client as a ‘gag gift’ by his Jewish godfather.

In other news, for the first time since checking into an Arizona rehab on March 26 to confront “personal issues” Jesse was spied early Monday taking his children to school — but was not wearing his ring. Sandra, meanwhile, was seen earlier this month walking a dog with a girlfriend.

She was also not wearing her ring.
