(HMG) – I am very surprised to here the report that, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are going to do a third Men In Black movie.  When last we heard Will Smith was deciding between ‘Men in Black 3′ and ‘City that Sailed’ for his return to the big screen. And rumor was that Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) has supposedly already written the screenplay, which will find Smith’s Agent J traveling back in time to meet a younger Agent K, apparently to be played by Josh Brolin, replacing Tommy Lee Jones.

MIB director Barry Sonnenfeld reportedly told Showbiz 411′s Roger Friedman that, despite rumors of Will’s departure, the actor has signed on to return. In fact Friedman is reporting that Sonnenfeld says all the deals are done and both Smith and Jones are onboard for this new installment.  Sonnenfield hinted that MIB could roll into the cinema just in time Memorial Day weekend 2011.

Meanwhile Smith’s Bad Boys co-star Martin Lawrence told MTV he had discussed a third film in the crime franchise with Smith and director Michael Bay and both were now keen to begin development.

“I got Big Willie to come down and see me about the movie,” Lawrence remarked. “I felt special.

“Any time you can get Big Willie to come out and talk about doing a third instalment of a hot movie like Bad Boys, you have to take notice.

“I met with Michael Bay, and he said he’s onboard too – so it’s real.”
