Tara Reid calls off wedding

(HMG) – Former American Pie actress Tara Reid has canceled her May wedding to German entrepreneur Michael Axtmann, four months after becoming engaged. Whether all bets are off remains to be seen, but things took a bad turn kind of suddenly.

Just last month she was gushing about her wedding to the German multi-millionaire, though she seemed rather focused on how she was gonna look on her special day.  She recently shot a wedding feature article for In Touch magazine, where she posed in several wedding gowns and revealed she wanted a “Cinderella” wedding.

She said: “I’m going to look like a princess. I just picked out the designer – It’s Rani from St. Pucchi, and she’s like the most incredible wedding designer in the world, in my opinion.

“I want my wedding to look like a wonderland. I want it to blow people away – and also to have a fun energy.”

She also revealed she was nervous about walking up the aisle.

She said: “Seeing myself and picturing Michael at the altar, I get butterflies in my stomach.”

However earlier this week something happened and, Tara changed the relationship status on her page on social networking site Facebook to single, sparking speculation the nuptials were off.

Now an official statement has been issued by her rep, but which gave no explanation, saying: “Tara Reid has confirmed that she will not be moving forward with her May 22 nuptials.”
