Heather Locklear Arrested After Being Tracked Down For Hit-and-Run

(HMG) – Another incident this past weekend seems to be some of  Heather Locklear’s bad history repeating itself.  Locklear was arrested for hit-and-run Saturday, according to TMZ, following a crash near North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif.   Fortunately Heather didn’t hurt anyone and apparently  hit a street sign and then took off.  Someone heard the crash and eventually called the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.  Deputies found a knocked over “no parking” sign and obvious signs of a car that went up the curb, striking the sign.   The ”accident was very close to Locklear’s house and police eventually found her black BMW, had been in a recent collision consistent with hitting a sign. Locklear was arrested her for hit and run but not taken into custody, only cited and released on a misdemeanor.

Back in September 2008, two months after leaving an Arizona rehab facility, Heather was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired. She ended up pleading no contest to a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and was placed on three years informal probation. A Santa Barbara prosecutor is looking into the latest incident according to TMZ, which could be a probation violation. I really don’t understand why she wasn’t arrested on the spot and given a breathalyzer and drug test, given her record.
