Finally Kate Gosselin is voted off Dancing With The Stars

(HMG) – Dancing with the Stars professional, Tony Dovolani will be waking up a free and happy man today.  I don’t know if it was her dismal performances or what that finally had her fans ease off on voting for Kate Gosselin, but after making it through five weeks at or near the bottom of the ballroom dancing scoreboard, ding dong the witch is dead.  Truthfully it was the humane thing to do and don’t worry about Kate, she has other opportunities lined up in venues that frankly will play a lot better to what her fans like about her.

TLC, home to her first ‘reality’ outing, has announced Kate will return to the network in her own series, ‘Twist of Kate,’ in which she will use letters from female fans who felt inspired by her story as the basis for visiting other women who faced the same problems.

“She will be in that person’s shoes,” says TLC chief, Eileen O’Neill. “And more often than not, it’s not going to be very easy for her. She’s game for things, but she also has boundaries.”

And two left feet, it would seem. But Kate seems resolute over this chance of more cash;

“I look at it as a loose concept,” she says. “I want to be out there learning from others, providing insight when I can, though I don’t consider myself an expert on anything.”

And if that idea does not bring enough pain, TLC are also prepping a series of specials, airing in June, that will focus on Kate’s new role as a single mother, co-starring the young Gosselin brood, despite the clashes between Kate and her ex, Jon, over custody of the children.

That was tough luck for Pamela Anderson last night who found herself at the bottom with Kate but definitely didn’t deserve to be.  I can’t say I was a fan coming into the show, but her dancing has been very good and equally as surprising to me, is that she can act.  her ability to get into each of the characters she portrays as she dances has been spot on.  Pam doesn’t seem to be getting any love from the fans voting wise right now but she deserves to stick around for a while.
