Larry King’s Wife Allegedly Had Affair With Son’s Baseball Coach

(HMG) – While all the early blame in the rift between Larry King and his wife Shawn Southwick, fell on the talk show host, there is another side to the story emerging. Both filed for divorce, apparently after an explosive argument at their home in Beverly Hills. Early rumors were that the marriage fell apart over allegations of infidelity, with Shawn accusing Larry of having an affair with her sister, Shannon Engemann. Sources close to both King and his wife say that Shawn figured out that Larry was having an affair with her sister after looking at his credit card statements. However it now seems that both sides may have been cheating. Southwick, 50, is King’s seventh wife. The couple has two sons, aged 11 and nine.
Entertainment Tonight scored an exclusive interview with the baseball coach of the couples sons, who admits to having an affair with Shawn. The news comes, even as the shattered couple are seeking counseling in a last ditch effort to repair their marriage. The coach, Hector Penate, says the affairs started with a stolen kiss and became a full-blown sexual relationship. He will admit to the affair in an interview on celebrity gossip show, Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday (Apr. 21). The interview was pre-taped and some details already have been released, including that Shawn talked about divorcing Larry “all the time” and that she knew all about Larry’s affair with her sister!  Whether this latest revelations finally sinks the marriage remains to be seen.
