Dexter star, Michael C. Hall returns to work, looking well
As most of you know, Dexter star, Michael C. Hall has been fighting Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Well, the latest news is he’s got the disease on the run.
The 39-year old actor, whose agent announced his condition on January 13, lost all his hair during chemotherapy treatment and looked frail as he received a Golden Globe for ‘Dexter’ on January 17. But the North Carolina-born actor looked fit and hirsute once again when Radar snapped this pic of him last week, on the set of his new movie, ‘East Fifth Bliss.’
Michael’s wife, Jennifer Carpenter, 30, says it’s been a tough fight but he’s winning; “He’s been so strong and even,” she told reporters yesterday. “He never got down about it or himself.”
And fans of Michael’s work as Dexter Hall on Showtime’s double Golden Globe-winning drama will soon see a new side of their favorite serial killer – The new film, which co-stars Charlie’s Angel’s actress Lucy Liu is a comedy.
As we’ve mentioned before, the survival rate for Hodgkins is over 90% if it’s caught and treated in time, which means Dexter is now sure to return. And that’s great news for both Jenny and us…
