Sharon Osbourne reveals Swine Flu was source of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ sojourn
[HMG] – Having carved quite a niche in the public’s affections, Sharon Osbourne, today told Matt Lauer that her recent absence from public view on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ was not by her own choice – the 57-year old star had been seriously ill.
Getting cozy on the plaza with Matt, Al Roker and the undervalued Ann Curry, Sharon revealed that Donald Trump gave her a rest from taping the show last November because she’d had Swine Flu and bronchitis. “But we didn’t tell anyone,” she modestly claimed.
Telling the trio she’d ‘never been so sick’ in her life, Sharon then mused that ‘Apprentice’ was the hardest, but the best thing she’d ever done. She also said the show’s bosses knew she was ill, ‘but we were keeping it quiet.’
This I don’t believe for a second; A star goes down with two potentially life-threatening illnesses and the entire network doesn’t grab the chance for some hype?? Not likely.
Ann then asked if it was a coincidence that Sharon’s team lost the first challenge they faced in her absence, Sharon was clearly amused, “I don’t think it was,” she confirmed.
Recent reports have suggested that Sharon – who has freely admitted to spending over $500,000 on cosmetic surgery – now plans to have her 34DD implants removed, then donate them to her husband, Ozzy as paperweights. So Ann asked her…why??
After faking embarrassment and rolling her eyes, Sharon confirmed the reports, and said; “Because they’re better on his desk than on my chest…Because they’re awful!”
Currently the 44th richest woman in Britain, Sharon has scheduled the removal for sometime in July, which will cost her two cup sizes…and a great deal of cash…
