[HMG] – If there’s an actor busier than Neil Patrick Harris, they’d be an indefinable blur – He stars in CBS’s ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ he’s directing the Hollywood Bowl version of ‘Rent’ that opens in August and now he’s talking for dogs.

The 36-year old actor and devoted dog owner has lent his smooth vocal range to ‘Through a Dog’s Eyes’ a PBS documentary that tells the remarkable story of service dogs and the owners whose lives they so often transform.

Based on the book of the same name by Jennifer Arnold that’s due out in September, the film follows various people as they “journey through the heartwarming and often challenging process of receiving their service dogs,” reports USA Today.

Two of the stars are an Iraqi vet who became quadriplegic after a car crash, and a 6-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy.

Neil told reporters he was compelled to get involved after he witnessed the remarkable bond between the service animals and their new human partners.

The full, furry story unfolds on Wednesday April 21st, at 8pm ET, but for now just watch this trailer and see if you can resist…
