Dr. Drew suggests Lindsay Lohan be framed with drugs to get her to rehab

{HMG] – Anyone can make a dumb statement, but in proof it takes a PhD to raise the bar to ‘head-bangingly stupid’ Dr. Drew Pinsky has suggested framing Lindsay Lohan to get her busted for drugs.

“If she were my daughter I’d pack her car with illegal substances, then call the police and make sure she was arrested,” he told reporters at a far lesser blog. “I would also make sure she was not allowed out of jail. I would go to the judge and make sure she got a minimum of a three year sobriety program.”

Not surprisingly, the good Doctor’s Facebook page lit up with people who were not exactly in sync with his methods; Most of which we can’t print. Many pointed out that framing Lindsay would be a crime, and could even put Lindsay at risk of being shot by police.

“When you sell Beverly Hills addiction therapy as pop-culture entertainment, you forget those rules don’t apply in Ohio,” Scott Morgan, a reporter at the Drug War Chronicle told the Huff Post. “Any parent taking Dr. Drew’s reckless advice is putting their family in the drug war’s deadly crossfire.”

But Drew, 51, plays a mean defense: Saying he believed there was “less than a 1% chance” of LiLo ever willingly entering rehab, he added:

“I wish no harm to her, but I have a feeling something awful is going to happen; Like she’s going to lose a limb. I hope Lindsay gets help before something terrible happens.”

As for LiLo, she’s all over this. Her response was measured, refined and simply brimmed with her iconic intelligence:

“He’s a quack!” she told friends. “I’m fine. I don’t get what’s wrong with these people.”

That’s easy: Dr. Drew needs the ratings, and you need a real job…
