Shannen Doherty first to leave ‘Dancing With The Stars’ ‘popularity contest

(HMG) – Resuming where it has left-off in previous seasons, you can almost throw out the judging when it comes to Dancing With The Stars, most weeks.  Being the first elimination there were many bad dancers with low scores to choose from including Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, and reality TV mom Kate Gosselin but it was “Beverly Hills, 90210″ actress Shannen Doherty, who went home.  Doherty has been dancing in tribute to her sick dad and despite an improved performance Monday, that put her overall score in the middle of the leader-board pack, and should have kept her safe, but she was let go.  Surprisingly Pamela Anderson was the other celebrity facing elimination.  Pam’s dancing and scores have been good and she is probably the most high profile celeb on the show but not exactly the wholesome Donny Osmond type, so she doesn’t seem to appeal to the DWTS fanbase, which doesn’t bode well for her future.
