About That Kate Gosselin Fight With Tony Dovolani on ‘DWTS’

Kate Gosselin(HMG) – We have mentioned previously here that Kate Gosselin was reportedly being a “total diva” on the set of “Dancing With the Stars during taping weeks before the first show aired.  Her icy behavior was supposedly alienating cast and crew.  Last night seemed to prove those rumors to be true as she and dance partner Tony Dovolani clashed during rehearsals. Dovolani walked out on Gosselin after she questioned his technique, arguing that what he was teaching her was “wrong.” “He feels like I undermine him as a teacher,” Gosselin, 34, snapped to the camera before turning to Dovolani. “You’re not taking into consideration how I learn!”  Gosselin walked away saying, “I’m done, I’m done today.”  Dovolani then removed his mic pack and said, “I quit!” The reality mom broke down in tears and exclaimed, “I don’t get it!”  Shortly after, Dovolani admitted he “overreacted,” and Gosselin — who split from her husband of 10 years, Jon, last year — lamented, “A lot of people quit on me in my life.” They finally pulled through and danced the Jive for the show. Unfortunately bad practice leads to bad performances, and it only scored a five from each of the judges, for a total of 15 out of 30 points.  Bruno Tonioli called the dance a “nightmare” and all three judges were highly critical.  The best that the most positive of the judges, Carrie Ann could come up with after the routine to say to Kate was, “The positive thing is that you made it through the whole routine.”

I have noticed in previous comments about Kate, that while a some people believe Kate to be a total ‘witch,’ or something that rhymes, there are many real devout followers that really relate to her life experience and take inspiration from her.  For that reason I expect Kate to survive on the show for a few more weeks (my guess is buzz Aldrin will be the first to leave), which is probably not good news to the ears of  Tony Dovolani.
