Ryan O'Neal[HMG] – Since the late Farrah Fawcett slipped from this world on June 25, the greed-driven conduct of those she thought were her friends has been endless; And it’s getting worse. Now Ryan O’Neal is accused of threatening death.

Back in 2004, so the story goes, a documentary producer called Craig Nevius made a deal with Farrah to produce a film titled ‘Chasing Farrah’ which recapped her life story. But in 2008, Ryan called him and wanted to take over control;

“In September 2008, Ryan O’Neal contacted Mr. Nevius and wrongfully demanded that he relinquish control of the film to a producer of O’Neal’s choosing,” says Nevius’ shiny new lawsuit. “When Mr. Nevius refused, Mr. O’Neal threatened to kill him.”

This was in 2008. He was so terribly upset, it’s taken him two years to complain. But there’s more;

The suit also claims Ryan’s business partner, Richard Francis told Nevius Ryan could get violent if he didn’t comply.

“In April 2009, Mr. Francis told Mr. Nevius to stay away from Ms. Fawcett, under threat of physical violence,” says the suit. “He stated ‘You better not appear at Farrah’s, because you’re gonna get your ass kicked in by Ryan – And I mean it!’”

On the other side of the coin, those representing Farrah’s estate told Radar Nevius was actually fired for doing a really poor job, and because of growing suspicions he was embezzling money.

Mr. Nevius responded by suing Ryan, Farrah’s girlfriend, Alana Hamilton and Mr. Francis. He also claims Farrah’s money is now being used “to improperly pursue” the lawsuit against him.

And this is not about ‘Farrah’s Story’ which aired back in June — that’s a whole other show. And he’s sued them for that one as well.

Howard Weitzman, who represents Farrah’s estate and is defending Ryan against the charges says Nevius’ allegations are “spurious and outrageous.”

In my view, he left out ‘avaricious, covetous, self-serving and dumb’…but other than that I entirely agree. How about you?…
