Dennis Hopper (R) and Victoria Duffy(HMG) – To add to the already ugly divorce battle going on between Dennis Hopper and his estranged wife Victoria Duffy, the Hollywood legend is accusing her of stealing valuable art works from him.  Hopper 73, who is terminally ill with prostate cancer, and now an emaciated 100 pounds, claims that his actress wife of 14 years, “surreptitiously” removed the art from his home because he would be too sick to notice they were missing.  Hopper estimates the missing art, including a portrait of himself by Andy Warhol and sculptures by Robert Graham and Brit wit Banksy, are worth more than $1.5 million. The screen legend, also claimed that he was too ill to work, was nearly broke and could only afford to pay his estranged fifth wife $5,000 in spousal support. According to an affidavit filed with the Los Angeles LA Superior Court, he claimed:

“I believe she wanted possession of these extremely valuable items so that she might claim I had given them to her had I not survived the medical procedures I was having in December,” he wrote.

“The items taken by Respondent were not gifted to her by me and they remain my property.”

Victoria Duffy, denied the claims.

“I removed my own property,” she tells the New York Post.

“He is making a big deal about me removing things that are legally mine from the house. I have legal letters saying they belong to me.”
