“The Hills” Set to Take a Hike After This Season

(HMG) – The  show that brought us Heidi and Spencer and some good things too, is going to end after the forthcoming season which starts, April 27.  The Hills creator Adam DiVello tells EW.com that the show, which started as a spin-off from Laguna Beach, had run its course. “I think we’ve told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in LA,” he explained. “A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths.”

The end was largely expected after the original lead star Lauren Conrad called it quits last year. The last season will feature the whole story of Heidi Montag‘s controversial cosmetic surgery and plenty of Kristin Cavallari‘s partying.  Heidi and Spencer’s relationship will also be a major focus of this batch of episodes. DiVillo also added that Spencer Pratt would be in “most of the episodes” following bogus rumors that he had quit the reality series.
