Bar Refaeli says she’s Leonardo DiCaprio’s biggest fan
[HMG] – When Leonardo DiCaprio cruised the Oscar red carpet without longtime girlfriend, Bar Refaeli the gossip soon started. But the 24-year old model says all the chatter was wrong — they’re still an item.
Bar, who’s been modeling since she was just four-months old, says she had ‘a tough time’ after she and Leo split for six months. But she says they’re now back together, and their bond has even improved.
“It was half a year for which I am very grateful,” she tells People. “I needed it. I came to understand a lot of things about myself and grew up. Today I know a relationship can work only if you know you can be alone and not afraid. I’m not afraid.”
So if she’s not alone and Leo is still number one, how come they’re still not engaged, she was asked?
“I’m not thinking about getting married,” she says, laughing off the rumors her agent probably started that she was wearing an engagement ring over Valentine’s weekend. “I’m still young – not yet 25.”
Also claiming she likes to ‘keep a low profile’ – which explains why she is constantly seen out in public with one of this planet’s most recognizable people – Bar says she’s still Leo’s biggest supporter;
“I’m there for him and I’m at all the events,” she says, ignoring the irony. “I just don’t walk in hand-in-hand with him. I don’t need to strike poses with him in front of the cameras. No-one needs to know how we kiss.”
No, we sure don’t…She just makes sure we get lots of chances in case the paparazzi miss a good shot…

Why being so hostile? they are not hiding but they clearly try to keep a low profile– after all Bar and Leo have not been seen together on the red carpet and she has consistently refrained form talking about him. This is the first time she says anything about him to the media. She refused to answer even when Letterman and Ellen asked her about him. However, they are still a couple which means that they spend time together so obviously some pictures of them will surface.
And how can the writer be so sure that her agent was the one spreading the engagement rumors? with all the paparazzi following them, anyone could have started the rumor.
Oh PLEEZ!!! Everyone knows this girl is in it for the publicity. I like the way she said she was at all the events with Leo. She forgot to mention that his mother is there too! Very romantic BARF!! Just the fact that she is to talking about her “relationship” in public shows she has not grown up. Leo Never talks about his relationships with women because he is a private person and doesn’t need the publicity. BARF will really be grown up when she stops using Leo for publicity. He’s not marrying her because he knows her motives. He has been around women like this all his life and he is not fooled by her motives. She’s a plaything, good look on his arm. That’s all.
