Hayden Panettiere gushes over giant new beau

[HMG] – People often say that ‘opposites attract’ and Hayden Panettiere seems keen to agree — She’s now dating Wladimir Klitschko, and the new pair could not be more different.

New York-born Hayden, who’s twenty, started dating 33-year Wladimir, who’s from Kazakhstan, in December, and she’s now totally sold on international relations. Her new beau is also a boxer and Hayden was eager to talk about him while at one of his fights last weekend;

“I’ve never had an athlete as a boyfriend before and it’s an exciting experience,” she gushed at the Spy. “I think it’s awesome he’s so athletic, but I’m most fascinated by his intelligence – He’s unbelievably clever.”

She’s right — The 6’6″ Ukrainian speaks four languages, has a PhD in Sports Science, is an avid chess player and golfer, has appeared in two movies and has even done work for UNESCO.

But 5’0″ Hayden is not deterred by this intellectual giant.

“Even though I’m small, I can dish it out too. But I feel really protected with such a man by my side. Now, whenever someone’s bugging me I say: ‘Look out, my boyfriend’s a boxer!’”

So does dating a super-fit athlete cause any doubts, she was asked? Apparently, no;

“I’ve never been one of those people who’s obsessed with working out or being skinny,” said Hayden, who’s a strict vegetarian. “I’m a typical girl; I often hate my body and could show you a million things I’d change. But it isn’t going to change, so I just try to stay healthy.”
